1)  The .htaccess file is a file that does not normally list.  (  .filenames).
The way to list is to use the -a (for all) option with the 'ls' command.  For
example, "ls -a" will list all files in that directory.  If the file is not
there, then you will need to create it.

2) To create the .htaccess file, use "pico .htaccess".  The pico command is an
editor.  It will automatically creates the file if it is not present.  ctrl-x
exits.
