RAID-1 seems to be the only (stable?) RAID option available. On that note, does anyone know if it's possible to run two RAID-1 arrays (comprised of 4 30gb drives) to provide 60gb of space?
I don't know about specifically on the RaQ, but in general yes it can be done.More interesting still for you should be RAID 0+1, where you take two drives, stripe them, and then mirror that pair of striped drives with another pair of striped drives. Data redundancy *and* speed.
