Hello there,
I've seen some posts in the archives about Cobalts LCD hanging on
Booting...
I have a similar problem, my Raq3i LCD stops at "Setting Up Bandwidth".
Now this isn't terrible because the server seems to keep working
regardless, though I am unable to use the LCD panel at all.
I'm running 2 RaQ3i's in a fail over cluster using StaQware. The fail
over is working fine, but far too often for my tastes. The primary is
failing about once every 2 weeks. I'm not sure if these events are
connected or not....
So, after seeing the posts in the archives I saw that I have to run
fsck. Is that possible on the StaQware configuration? I did try it
while SSHed in to the box, but it keeps saying that the device is busy
when I try to umount /dev/md1. Or will this not be the case if I use a
null modem cable connected to the box instead of SSHing in. Or, might
it be busy because of the raid functions happening?
When I look at my fstab, this is what I see:
[root@machine admin]# less /etc/fstab
/dev/md1 / ext2 defaults,errors=panic
1 1
/dev/hda6 swap swap defaults,errors=panic
0 0
/dev/md3 /var ext2 defaults,errors=panic,nosuid
2 2
/dev/md4 /home ext2
defaults,errors=panic,usrquota,grpquota,grpid 3 3
none /proc proc defaults
0 0
none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=0620
0 0
Any help is much appreciated.
TIA,
Tobin
