I think there have been some pretty good directives posted here in the past
on how to do this compiling from the command line.. I chose not to do it
that way due to total and complete ignorance <g> Though after having
installed a few .tar files now, it is not that hard as long as you follow
the directions...

I am not familiar with the Qube's though... so check the archives carefully
for others who have done it..
