[cobalt-users] Lost root password combined with disk errors on a RAQ3, please help me out..

Hi!

I just received an old RAQ3 that wasn't in use,
the problem is that I don't have the root password,
and the disk have errors.

I never pass the booting stage on the lcd menu, so
I can't reset the password with a paperclip...

Is there any way else to reset the password, or have I done it incorrectly?

Without the password I can't go into maintenance mode
when I connect with a null modem cable to the serial port.

Does anyone have any suggestion of what I can do?
