But there are dozens of answers to this in the mailing list archives if
you search for the exact subject you used :)
Short answer, you can't do it ;)
Longer answer, if you have control over 'mydomain.co.uk' then you can
fairly easily give that machine a domain name, eg
mailserver.mydomain.co.uk and point to that...
If it's on an internal LAN, you can stilldo it this way, eh
localmailserver.mydomain.co.uk, as long as it's reachable and can look up
it's own name it will be perfectly happy...
How can you run a notes server with no name anyhow?
Please do make sure it's configured properly before putting it on the net,
i have listed half a dozen broken notes servers as open relays this month
alone (for spamming me ;)-/
