I am pretty unhappy with Network Solutions. Right now I am trying to change
the IP address for a host and 3 weeks of faxes, emails and phone calls (up
to 2 hr hold times!) and they still haven't made the change. Even worse,
they offer no feedback. My suggestion is to go somewhere else.

In regard to registar's all except Network Solutions seem reasonable.
Whatever you do avoid Network Solutions!
My last problem with network solutions involved a webhosting customer who
recently changed to my server. My webhost customer needed to change his
domain to reflect my name servers, a simple enough request. Well, Network
Solutions informed me that in order for the customer to change the name
servers of the customers domain my name servers must be registered with
network solutions!
What is really strange is I currently have about 50+ customers whose domains
are registered via Network Solutions and who use the same name servers! And
my name servers are currently, properly registered with Opensrs.org!
This is just a long line of problems with this registar!
