Thanks Gerald... I did not remove the CNAME but on last check it is gone
and mail now works... right after I noticed it gone and mail working, I got
an email from the service providing my DNS stating they had configured it
wrong.. So that musta been it..
Now.. I've got another question related to email and SMTP... when doing a
netstat I see several servers hooked to my SMTP server, such as this line.
tcp 0 0 www.myserver.c:smtp list.cobalt.com:2590 ESTABLISHED
Is it normal for the SMTP to be activated by incoming mail? There were a
couple others that I did not recognize as user connections on the SMTP
server.. Forgive my ignorance but is SMTP activated for incoming mail, or
only outgoing?
Thanks again
