Re: [cobalt-users] Manually adding users

 NAME
adduser - adds a user on a RaQ without using the UI

SYNOPSIS

       adduser [ options... ]

DESCRIPTION

adduser, adds a user to a virtual site. The script checks

user defaults for missing information, these defaults are

configured in the Cobalt user interface on site admin

page, under the "Set User Defaults" button. For example

if you configure Telnet/Shell access under this screen,

you can skip the -t option and all users created will have

       shell access enabled.

       user will be added to.

-g [text] The group name of the site user will be added

       to.

-u [text] This is the name used by the Cobalt server to

identify the user. It also appears in the URL of the web

site and the email address of the user. Only lowercase

alphanumeric characters, periods (.), hyphens (-) and

       underscores (_) are allowed.

-f [text] This is the full name of the user separated by a

space ie. Doug West. If this option is not provided, the

ters. A strong password is one that is difficult to

guess, not found in any dictionary, and is 8 or more char-

acters with at least one non-alphabetical character. Pass-

       words are case sensitive.

total disk space allowed for web pages, email and all

       other files.

-a Enables the user to be a site administrator.
