Hi Brent!

Well, I might have been clearer on that subject. Software distribution, porn
or a celebrity site for that matter, is a different ballgame than 'regular'
business hosting, imho. Please take note of the 'h' in 'imho'. I'm not
talking about hosting cnet.com or anything.
People tend to get lured by the large number of gb's they can use with
providers, while it's mostly a fake. ISP probably can't keep up with that
number when *every* site/server they provide actually uses that 50gb (or
whatever high number), unless of course you are a good ISP.
To me, it's like banks. Maybe a quarter or something of all the money that
goes around in the world is backed by cash or gold. If everyone wants to
cash their bank accounts, big trouble is right ahead.

Don't worry, no worries on this side of the line. :-) I don't do flames.

True, but how many of those do we have lying around? It's a small portion.
Most sites are, I think, 'regular' business sites that might use up 1gb on a
lucky month.

You see, we do agree (we might put it differently, but hey?). That's why
I've chosen a provider which provides me with bandwidth and couldn't care
less how many gb's I run thru their lines. And yes, that is expensive.
Have a good weekend... Nico
