[cobalt-users] the SMTP (mail) server is not responding

Hi,
I've been receiving a message with subject: "the SMTP (mail) server is not
responding"

That says:
"The SMTP (mail) server appears to be down. The mail server may shut itself
down temporarily under extreme load, so you should also check the CPU load
on the server. If the load does not appear to be the problem, try turning
mail service off and then on within the Cobalt server Control Panel to see
if
this corrects the problem. If not, try rebooting the server itself. If
this
still does not correct the problem, contact Cobalt Technical Support."

I'm receiving it almost every day, but a few days ago I received it almost
every hour.

As I think, someone used my SMTP for spaming, but I've put every domain of
my clients in the "reject" list so they cannot relay. Even that, after 3
days I still receive the warning e-mail.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Adrián Boismoreau
