As the one who wrote the instructions on how to patch.... I can tell that:
a) it has nothing to do with a DB. this script calls a perl module to make
changes on the files at /etc/cobalt/swatch/services. nothing more. so if a
database problem is what you had, my patch is not relevant to it, although
you know that big companies tend to blame 3rd party software (i.e. "This
program has This application had performed an illegal operation and will
be shut down. If the problem persists, please contact the software
vendor." - The funny thing is that usually MS software creates those
errors ;p)
b) I was the first to make this changes, I believe. My RaQ works well with
no apperant difference. (besides the fact that this time when I hit save
changes, AM doesn't yell at me, as well as I don't get email warnings.)
b.t.w. the imap config file is not changed once in a 3-4 weeks. it's
irrelevant to time. it's when you hit "save changes" in the control panel,
and resulted because of the services.cgi , which is why changing the on to
off stops that behaviour.
