[cobalt-users] logrotate again!

Hi, Sorry for asking what I know has been asked many times but I just want
to make sure I am doing the right thing. 

I want on all sites we have on both RaQ3's and RaQ4's to have log files
rotated monthly keeping 4 months archives zipped up. 

I've read through all the previous posts and found you have to change each
individual sites file in the /etc/logrotate.d directory (and .onboot) but
this is going to be cumbersome to go through and change each one for every
site we have and each new one we add.  Is it possible to delete these files
and then I'm assuming each site will use the logrotate.conf which I only
have to change once?  Am I assuming too much here or is this possible.  I
don't really want to go through each file and update 50+ files with
effectively the same settings.
