No way hoze! :)
Microsoft's Operating Systems are using about x7 resources than any other
Operating System in the world.
The cobalt cpu is so slow for Windows 2000, that by the time you finish
booting, the server will crash (because windows ain't so stable... :))
Linux is a fast, low-resource-demending OS, with 100% stability (don't
touch it, it works). That's why they used that OS for the blue boxes.
Besides... Windows 2000 has SO many remote-exploitable holes that
microsoft didn't fix, and will probably never will... people can take your
box down from a 2400 modem...
Don't even bother trying to remove the Linux from cobalt. The CPU is
300MHz.
I've got a 733MHz with 256MB RAM and still winblows2k won't move.
I've now switched to linux, and it's just amazing... the difference...
so... don't do it... for your own sake :)
and if u insist to - get cobalt's restore cd. 100% you'll want it. :)
