I liked what I saw with Eudora 5 but I had some stability problems with it. At least under Win2K - and that's most of my users nowadays. Has it been reliable for you? And, if so, under what OS?
It's been reasonably stable; a few crashes which is disappointing based on the immovable rock that 3.x represented back in 1997. Most annoying is a certain lack of keyboard shortcuts (come on, no key to forward mail?), and an address book I still don't understand.
As for OS, I'm under (as in squirming to get out from under) Win98SE on my Toshiba laptop. However, my Brazil contract is on a 22-day on, 8-day off cycle; and although my first 22 days actually turned into 30 consecutive workdays, tonight begins my 8 days off. So two things:
1. I'm outta here for a week late tonight... please keep the flames down while I'm gone, I wouldn't want to miss the fun.
2. I'm gonna try to put RedHat 7 on my notebook and use VMware to run virtual Windows. Hope I make it work; if I do, I'll let you know how things go.
