I just installed the MySQL and it all went well. However I can not create a
databse or amend the test database.
I think that during the install the program creates a new user account ( on
our Raq 4 ) called MySQL. I suspect the problem is that this user account
does not have enough disk space allocated and as a result MySQL will not
accept and more data.
The problem is that I altough I know the user account exists I can not find
it using the GUI and as such I can not amend the disk space quota.
I imagine someone has been this route before me so I need to know if;
a- I am right about the problem or I am just talking out of my backside
or
b- There is a linux command to find and amend the quota ( I am not good
with Linux yet ).
I apologise if this is a newbie question, I have looked long and hard for a
solution to no avail.
If you can help I would really appreciate it, thanks.
