I think you're right, Gary. I do have the sent-mail folder subscribed on
my main system, but I had thought that it was IMAP, rather than the
client, that was storing the sent mail in the folder. Of course, when I
pull the old, dusty knowledge out of my brain, that makes no sense at
all, because IMAP isn't used to send the mail, SMTP is, and it doesn't
know anything about the folders.
Egad, senior moment after senior moment. Being away from Unix for 10
years makes me feel like an incredible moron! Wish this stuff was a lot
easier to figure out/remember! I think it's all pretty obvious to people
who deal with it all the time, but not so much for the occasional
dabbler!
