I'm glad you cleared that up Dom. The license is a bit ambiguous in the
manual since it does not even mention the Perl GUI.
So, you're saying that Compaq or HP can remove the GUI from a RaQ,
install that GUI on higher end Compaq or HP machines, and market them
with no more than a "GUI developed by Cobalt Co." notice on them?
Or, we can all quit tweaking things behind the GUI and instead put the
GUI development on SourceForge and "repair" it so noone ever needs to
get under the hood, adding tons of features left out, redesigning things
along single pages for different task sets, expand it into something
that will rival websiteOS for automated management by the end user, who
knows what else, and provide it as a tar from SourceForge that anyone
can freely download and install on any Linux/Apache box. And do it with
Sun/Cobalt's blessing?
OK. Let's do it.
