No I was not. But I did read the thread in the archives before signing
up with them. In fact when we first looked at them they offered a 300MHz
Raq4 for $50 or $75 less than the 450MHz. It was an upfront offer.
Obviously Raq3 hardware with the Raq4 OS installed. They were not the
only data centers offering these hybrids. I assumed Cobalt turned out a
batch in error and shipped them to more than one data center. I cannot
imagine Cobalt increasing sales to a data center that blantantly
violated Cobalt's copyright by installing Raq4 OS on a Raq3 box anymore
than I can imagine Cobalt not coming after you or I for temporarily
leasing a Raq4, downloading the Cobalt software, and then installing it
of our own machines.

The thread speaks for itself. Those who gave CobaltRack the benefit of
the doubt reported back to this list that they were quickly upgraded to
Raq4 hardware. Those who threatened lawsuits etc did not report back on
the status of their suits or their upgrades.
