Instead of Thom's normal knee-jerk reaction to my pointing out the archive,
he could have, heavens forbid, read my reply and seen the reference to the
archive url.

That was long before I decided to administer my own server. But, like so
many people I've seen down here in snowbird land who open a restaurant
without ever having worked in one, I guess people will jump into owning a
server without ever having operated one before or reading about it. The
server may be marketed to someone not knowing Linux, but it doesn't say they
shouldn't at least know some Internet basics. Maybe when they make the GUI
WebTV compatible, we'll see that.
