the lame server message has been answered at least twice in the last 2
weeks - have a look on google or the archives please.

The log you posted is pretty much simply named just doing its thing
then the machine trying to log into itself via ftp - this is something the
active monitor does every 15 mins
them some more named stuff
then the ftp/active monitor thing in again
and then somone logging into your system via ssh as admin and then switching
User to root

if you are the person logging in as root at that time then its okay - if it
wasn't then be worried.
