Also, If you're stuck in windows, I recently found WinSCP so you can use scp
in windows (Secure file transfer over the ssh port) instead of using ftp.
Works pretty nicely.  Designed like an ftp client almost.  It's got a lot of
putty code in it, and it's free.  I forget where i found it.. perhaps
winscp.com?  Found it through google.com..

Putty and SecureCRT are good.

Putty is free, and SecureCRT is not.

SecureCRT is the most powerful terminal application I've seen in my life.
It supports just like everything, from telnet, to ssh1, ssh2, Serial
connection, just everything possible.

Putty can be downloaded from: ftp://ftp.xmms.org/pub/putty.exe
SecureCRT, by VanDyke technologies, can be downloaded from
http://www.vandyke.com/download/securecrt/index.html

Both those are Windows clients.
If you're looking for a client for Linux, just install SSH on the machine
you want to connect from, and it installs a client as well.

In order to use the Linux client, just type "ssh username@hostname" at
your shell prompt.
