To install openSSH on my server, I have to upgrade my
OpenSSL from 0.9.3a to 0.9.5a. Can I just simply
upload, make and install the new version, or do I need
to remove the old version first. Actually, this same
question applies to upgrading the PHP that came with
my RaQ3 to PHP 4. Thanx in advance for the help.
The latest version is 0.9.6, which you can grab from www.openssl.org.
If you install from the tarball, the old version *should* be
overwritten/upgraded.
You may need to remove the old PHP from the RaQ3 if it was installed as an
RPM. Try;
rpm -qa | grep php
and rpm -e [package] to remove packages.

Glen
