I don't have access to a Raq3, but I do have access to a Raq2 and I
administer numerous RedHat servers. I have never seen an entry in cron
that would attempt to kill the DNS server with a signal 9 (essentially
meaning kill NOW, no questions asked) on an hourly basis (or for any
reason for that matter - why would you want the DNS server killed?).
Maybe I'm wrong or just paranoid, but I'd be highly suspicious of such
an entry.
