The main site on a RaQ 4i has a self generated SSL certificate. When one of
the virtual sites (doesn't matter whether it is sharing the same IP as the
main site or not) has a 404 error, a security warning about the main sites
SSL certificate pops up on the visitors screen as the default Cobalt "file
not found" thing is loading. Has anyone else ran into this, and is there a
way of preventing it? I had moved some of the sites to another IP address,
but the SSL warning is still given. I presume that if I purchased a
certificate this wouldn't happen because most people's browsers would trust
a signed certificate from Thawte or whoever. It doesn't matter to me about
the warning... as a matter of fact, I don't even get it because I trust my
own self generated certificate. Some clients find this disconcerting,
though. Of course, if they didn't have the 404 errors...
