You and Dan both point out some of the pitfalls for service providers.
I think the quiet approach makes a lot of sense, with gentle reminders to
your users that they need to cover their own butts when it comes to
virus issues.
Another justification for the quiet approach, whether it by virus related,
security related or system configuration is that the less divulged in a
public forum, the better off you are. I sometimes shudder to see some of
the posts here, that could draw a map for someone with bad intentions.
