I'm running a RaQ4i with the webalizer .pkg from Cobalt. I noticed that the
stats for one domain weren't being updated, which appeared to be because the
/home/sites/siteN/logs/web.log file was 0 bytes long even though there is
definately a lot of traffic going to that site. I downed Apache with
"/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd stop", cleared out the contents of
/home/sites/siteN/log and then started Apache again hoping to kick start the
logs again,... but no new logs have been created at all!!
I'm at a loss. Logs are working everywhere else! Can someone suggest what
might be wrong and how to fix it?
Also, is the /etc/cron.daily/logrotate the same script which is supposed to
rotate these same log files? I ask because I would like to get webalizer to
be called from within this script if it is the right one, to gaurentee that
it doesn't get interrupted during the log rotation.
Thanks in advance to anyhow who can help! (The Cobalt knowledge base hadn't
turned up much for me).
