Thank you for your responses. I have fixed the problem by entering the line.
admin: me@xxxxxxxxxx
in the aliases file and then running newaliases

Another thing to look for, is there may be a siteadmin
and a server admin.
One being a user at a vitrual site say main.tld.
The other being the admin at www.main.tld or whatever you call your server.
