And that's a problem? ;-) I see that as being a feature!

Actually, I dislike HTML mail. There are too many HTML exploits with bugware
like Outlook Express that are available. I always make sure I turn off a
mail program's html capability so I don't get dodgy redirects to sites of
ill-repute, dodgy javascript/ActiveX/java controls and the like. In fact, I
try to use a text-only mail program like elm. If I want to see something in
HTML glory, I'll go to the website myself thank you very much!

The NNTP server I wrote for my web board actually rejects HTML postings with
an error message telling the user to turn HTML posting *off*.
