Keith
Did you delete the whole domain from the DNS then the email worked? Or did
you just delete all records bar the MX record?
Can u give me a bit more detailed account of what you did to get it working
correctly?
Cheers Mate

I know that this response sounds like it comes from Microshaft Customer
Support Desk, but your New Problem is a "feature" not a "problem". At
least that's how it's working for me. I found that once I've entered the
mydomain.com in the Email Aliases for the Site Settings I am prohibited
from ever entering it in the Host/Domain Aliases Field in Email
parameters. BUT, when I completely deleted the DNS record for
mydomain.com, guess what, the damned email started working -
someNONuser@xxxxxxxxxxxx started getting his email without the www. So
then I go back and rebuild the DNS for mydomain and the email still
works and I still CANNOT enter mydomain.com in the Host/Domain Aliases
Field. My guess - there is no need to enter the domain in Host/Domain
Aliases Field if it is entered in the Email Aliases, but only if you do
the typing with your left hand and only on Mondays. At least that's how
it's working on my machine - milage may very on others.
Did they warn you that a Cobalt is perpetually in beta before you got
it?
