Hi,
I came home tonight to find my server not responding to HTTP, FTP or SSH
requests,... but replying to pings. Basically it was dead in the water and I
had to phone my hosting company to flick the switch on it to reboot. When i
came back up again, I had the following email waiting in my mailbox from the
admin account:
BUG IN DYNAMIC LINKER ld.so: dl-minimal.c: 69: malloc: Assertion `page !=
((void *) -1)' failed!
It's a RaQ4i 256mb ram. Does anybody know what this error "REALLY" means in
real terms. I'd like to prevent this happening again if I can.
Nic
