stuff that people subscribe to jokes list and cNet mailings to read.
BTW, I never mentioned bandwidth. While you might think a message about FAT
pipes is important, that doesn't mean the entire list of thousands of
subscribers, (guessing), shares your view and wants to receive an email
notification of the article.
