Re: [cobalt-users] [root access with ProFTPD]

Hi Carrie,

Ahh.. how to change su password to be different than admin... and.. does this break access via the GUI.. (currently run very infrequently in SSL and can be a lifesaver... open to argument, likely:)

A big 10-4 on that!! For the record... I do NOT do that any more <g> Trying to decide currently if I like pico or should listen to my software engineering student girlfriend who says "vi is more available and it will always be on every linux/unix box you ever go on.... I think I prefer pico.. seems a lot more straightforward.

I swear Doctor... I never do it anymore!! Main reason is I never log in as admin via any other method than SSH or the GUI which is under SSL... I'm learning... spending the better part of a week finding and fixing a hack will do wonders for your reality checks!

Thanks for the advice.. I think I'll stick with pico for my editor.. even though "she" gave me a really nice vi book to read... (remember me.. the never RTFM guy :)

Thanks again
