Hi!
What you're doing is called "http streaming" - you're not actually using
a media content server with controlled, metered streams. Depending on
your hosting agreement, the length of your files and number of
concurrent users, this can kill you in bandwidth costs. If you have a
lot of large multi-media content, a suggestion is to either install Real
Server or find a more cost-effective method of streaming. One
additional advantage to using Real Server - you get much better
reporting statistics about your visitors' listening/viewing habits at
your site (how long clips were viewed/listened to, etc.).
