Re: [cobalt-users] Qube 2, eMail Problem

Hello,

we are not very practiced with qubes and have a problem sending emails, but

<xxx@xxxxxxxxxxx>... User unknown', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:
550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

This problem occurs although "Relay email from t-online.de" is selected at
"Advanced email settings".

Emails sent to other domains seems ok, there are no errors reported.

Does anybody know how to manage it? That would be great. Thanks!

Have you double-checked that xxx is spelled correctly. I would talk to the addressee directly to make sure it was correct.

Also, unless someone is sending mail FROM t-online.de through your server, you do not need to enable relaying. In fact, I would not enable relaying from t-online.de -- this is like enabling relaying for aol.com in the US.
