Or, in CuteFTP (version 4.2.2 is mine), under the Site Manager for the
particular site, click on Edit, click Filter, Check only the box Enable
remote filters and enter "-rtaF" without the quotes. Make sure Enable local
filters in unchecked and when you click OK, make sure you check Enable
Filter on the main Site Properties screen.
According to a post in the archive, "With WS FTP if you type "-aol" in the
box below MkDir (for remote site!) "
