Dear Friends,
I am having e-mail sending and receiving issues for a couple of weeks on my
RaQ3 server.
1) Some users of some domains are not able to send or receive e-mails with
other users of the same domain. I need help for the solution of this
problem. E-mails of these domains were working very well until a few weeks
ago, but they are all almost down right now. Let's say, abc@xxxxxxxxxx is
not able to send or receive e-mails from xyz@xxxxxxxxxxx Called Cobalt
technical support, but no solution until now. DNS set-ups for these domains
are all right.
2) Trying to find out what is going on; I looked at
/var/spool/mail
directory of my box. I found that there are some users which I never
registered them on my server. These are:
adm
admin
gopher
mail
pop
promo
I am not able to see these users through web interface. I understand that
"admin" is the standard server administrator for the Cobalt RaQ3. So, since
I do not see them through my web interface, when I try to set up user
accounts for:
adm
gopher
mail
I am getting "<xxx> is a reserved name message"; so, I suppose these are
system related user accounts. But when I try to set up:
pop
promo
I am getting "user <xxx> already exists" message through my web interface. I
have never registered such user accounts like "pop" and "promo". So, I am
suspicious. I need your help on this issue also.
Regards to all of you,
Mustafa Cavcar
