Since getting hit with a Bind attack, I have tried, with total success, running my name based server with the DNS service turned off.. It works exactly as it did when I thought I needed to make all the records for each site... At least with the name based system.. it works completely fine (all services seem in order) with it turned off..
I do not know if this helps close any holes.. but I sleep a *little* better at night... err.. well.. who sleeps at night anyway.. I sleep sometimes... but it's better when I do it!! <g>
