And in the future, always make sure that you build in some sort of
counter for this kind of thing. Again, for the Guatemalan ISP what we
did was setup an email from postmaster (daily, weekly, monthly, your
preference) that told you all the emails that you had downloaded and
read. An excerpt below from this morning's report (format's kinda wide,
but what the heck):

I'll spare you the rest. This is a Good Thing (tm), since now the
customer can only complain about *yesterday's* mail. But realistically,
complaints dropped by about 95% when we implemented this.
