No guarantees that the answers are correct, but here goes:

Yes... the one they gave you. Another one, that you buy? No.
> Where in the world does my XTR's IP address / Mask go?
Don't know the control panel, but somewhere in there it asks for the
specific networking information of your RAQ. It also asks for this
information on first-time setup, if other equipment is an indication.
General Settings, or something like that.
> Will my XTR's "Default Gateway" be my x.a.b.17 or .18? (or neither?)
I would think x.y.z.158. The default must be on your same network so you
can reach it, and 158 is the "LAN Interface" for the router. So for your
RaQ, 158 is your gateway. x.a.b.17 is *the router's* gateway.

f.g.h.8
f.g.h.7
These are the DNS servers that your RaQ will ask when it doesn't know a
domain. That's why they said "For Resolution Only" which doesn't include
the DNS of your hosted domains.

Safe, yes. Useful, maybe. I'd leave it alone for a little while and read
some more before you try to use two outgoing routes overall.

A single NIC can listen to many IP addresses.

I think... /home/sites/home. Look around. Read the httpd.conf in
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
for more enlightenment on file locations.
Good luck, and I hope the answers are correct.
