Assuming they have something that could remotely pass for
a clue, telnet/SSH in, su to root, in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
change the above listed line to:

	/usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so

pico /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf at the prompt will allow you
to edit the file. You'll see the appropriate line about a screen
down the file. You might want to take a peek at
/etc/httpd/conf.srm.conf and see if they added the AddType for PHP.
You'll find that about halfway down the file. Look for a line that
reads: AddType application/x-httpd-php - there should not be a # in
front of it. I'd recomend checking before you proceed as this is a
very basic installation error. Someone - anyone 'expert' enough to
bill for an installation ought to know how to set this up...

	then do a

	/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd stop

	then do a

	/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start

Now you ought to be able to type:

	lynx -head http://localhost

At the prompt and PHP should be listed there in the details
for Apache. If not, just comment out the line you changed in the
httpd.conf file, then restart HTTPD using the proceedure outlined
above and let us know what happened.

Then, and most importantly, find yourself a support team
that knows what they are doing - I'd recomend doing that just as
fast as you possibly can. Trust me, there is nothing wrong with your
server...

No, we don't support anyone but our clients. But feel free
to mention my name if you discuss this any further with the people
who installed this for you.

	Peace be with you,
