Let me make sure you're saying the right thing here: if you do ask your
server who ns1.solonix.com is, it will answer "I am!" Is that right?
Because the first step is to get your server to answer to that name.

Either (1) or (2) will be true.
(1) You set up your server to answer for the name, and then
when you request a change with OpenSRS it will be able
to verify the existence (by asking it).
(2) You fill out some form at OpenSRS essentially telling
them that your server is at that IP, and then go change
your domain info.
Most probably (1), I think, but read their website most carefully. The
answer should be in there somewhere.

No. It just *looks* like a chicken-and-egg problem.
By the way, since you've made it clear to everyone that:
* you have a new server
* you don't know much about running it
* and you gave everyone the IP address...
***********************************************************
* I hope to God you've spent a little time learning about *
* security or that you're willing to take this server *
* OFF-LINE for a few days while you get someone to secure *
* it for you. Otherwise, you have just made yourself and *
* your RaQ3 (shown on its webpage when asked for by IP *
* address) a prime target for a hack. *
***********************************************************
Good luck.
