Thomas, you're assuming that Derrick will allow users to post files.
This may not be true; for example, I run an anonymous FTP server where
anyone (with a clue) can download the PDF files that make up our product
brochures. Anyone can get them by anon-ftp; however, there is no
incoming directory and only root has write access to those directories
and files.
In such a configuration, anon-ftp is fine... right? Or is there
something I don't know here?
