We need to use PHP with Postgres, having compiled a new copy of Apache
(1.3.17) and PHP (4.0.4pl1) all seemed ok...
The problems occurs when we try to amend the existing httpd.conf
(/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf)... Basically setting it to listen to 1 IP only
and getting the new httpd to listen to another IP...
Every 15 minutes the following errors are generated
/etc/httpd/logs/error
[Mon Mar 12 10:15:05 2001] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down
[Mon Mar 12 10:15:12 2001] [notice] Apache/1.3.12 Cobalt (Unix)
mod_ssl/2.6.4 OpenSSL/0.9.5a PHP/4.0.1pl2 mod_auth_pam/1.0a
FrontPage/4.0.4.3 mod_perl/1.24 configured -- resuming normal operations
[Mon Mar 12 10:15:12 2001] [notice] suEXEC mechanism enabled (wrapper:
/usr/sbin/suexec)
The Active monitor is telling us that the web services are broken
Also if we stop the httpd (/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd stop) it restarts
itself...
Can we stop the httpd from restarting ?
