Hi Mike,
since the last security updates (including pine, poprelayd, imdap,
vixie-cron) our RaQ3 does not crash. But pine/pico/pilot refuses to work
answering with this seqmentation fault error.
Checking all files belonging to every package installed showed me that in
every cobalt-package I installed during the last week (beginning from
pine-update) specific files are lacking or corrupted (md5 check error). Both
pine config files, eg, were simply missing.
I replaced all packages which were orinially made by RedHat (and packed by
Cobalt) with their equivalent rpms from RedHat in order to repair the
proftpd.
For some packages I couldn't find equivalents to replace, these seem to be
cobalt-native. Even trying to uninstall using the "official" uninstall
scripts didn't work (giving me a perl-style prompt).
Sending a dignastoics file to diagnostics@xxxxxxxxxx didn't even provoke a
simple reply.
Rebooting does not help either. So, I presume, the problem might be
somewhere down in the deepness of system libraries or...
Regards,
Hendrik
