Clayton,
Don't give up yet. Even I get frustrated at times but you've got the
machine, ya may as well run with it.
I take it you were trying to add a lot of sites at one time without having
to go through the long clicking process in the GUI?

Going straight to siteList.cgi isn't the way to do this - as you found. The
Shell Tools by Jeff Bilicki is the way to do this.

At this point your best bet is to back up the sites' contents and remove
them in the GUI. Check httpd.conf and make sure they're taken out there too.
Then you can re-add them using the GUI, or using the shell tools. Up to you.

If you've got the latest updates on your RaQ (I am assuming you've got a
RaQ3 since you mentioned the 'check email' box) then the shell tools are
added. If not, you'll find them at:
ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/users/jeffb/shell-tools/

Open those up and take a good look at caddvsite. It's got examples in it of
how you do it.
Best of luck!
