Now this is *really* strange. I use Pine for the majority of email from
either of my machines, and in response (and out of sheer curiosity) I
just went to look for either of those two files. I never had a reason to
go find 'em before.
Guess what? <laugh> they don't exist in /etc, but in /usr/lib and both
(apart from the header text) are blank!
Prevously I was under the impression that pine built a default
/etc/pine.conf (or pine.conf.fixed) when it was compiled.....shows you
what "assuming" can do.
running pine -conf produced a torrent of output of course, but with null
values in each setting.
Odd....very odd indeed.
