Don't know about the rest of the stuff, but here's what I
did:
su to root
pico virtusertable
find the line that says "admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx admin"
change it to "admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx joe"
hit ctrl-x and save your work
type "newaliases"
Now, right here, you MIGHT get an error complaining of a
duplicate entry. About half the time I do, half the time I
don't. I've been doing the same hack on several versions of
raq since the respective updates took away our ability to
use the "admin" alias, and have suffered no ill effects.
If you worry that you ARE suffereing an ill effect, you can
easily change it back in the same two minutes it took you to
do what you just did.
Now type
"makemap hash /etc/mail/virtusertable <
/etc/mail/virtusertable"
using your respective path to virtusertable, of course.
Then
/etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail restart
That will cause them and only them to receive mail addressed
to "admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
Note: The "admin" alias doesn't show up in EVERY part of the
gui on the different raqs, but on all the raqs I've seen the
"Admin" alias WILL show up in the users' PERSONAL page.
