The folderformat for the spool files is the same as what pine uses for
local folders, so you could copy the spool file into ~/mail and open it as
a folder in pine, if you want you could copy it back after editing, but
you
need to be carefull on that one as you can trash new mail that arrives
in between..(appending to the spool file is slightly safer, but not
completly)

(Making the assumption they aren't uing IMAP ;)
