I reported this as a problem to cobalt. the pop-before-smtp package will not
re-install successfully.

If one looks at the uninstall script it does not uninstall, but just
disables.

If one does a tar -zxvf <your package file here> you'll see the install
script and other files that make up the package. Looking at the install
script it is clear that it fails if an attempt to patch an already (from the
original install) patched file fails.

I got it to re-install by commenting out the 3 file patch's it applies, then
repackaging the package (tar -zcvf <your package file here> ./) and
installing it. Certainly a hack, but it works and it shows it's installed in
the gui.

Sigh.
